Since 2013 Roger Klose has been teaching the subject "Cloud- and Service Architecture", part of the master's degree in Mobile Computing at the University of Worms. A field including exciting topics like basic research, real scenarios, security and risk assessments, data protection, and new architectures.
Furthermore, he has been a speaker for more than 15 years at national and international conferences. His lectures are focused on security, especially topics such as IoT, cybercrime, darknet, zero-day exploits, cloud, fuzzing, virtualization, production networks, compliance, NAC, MPLS, and endpoint security. Through his skills acquired as an Offence / Defense Researcher, Mr. Klose understands real-life threat scenarios and the associated risks and will present them to the audience in an understandable way.
Parallel to his work as a lecturer, Mr. Klose works full-time at Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, where he focuses on information security governance with a special focus on information security consulting.
Prior to this, he held leading positions in various consulting firms, inter aglia as CIO, authorized representative and trusted advisor. Here he was responsible for the areas of consulting, business development, and key account management. He was also a consultant, trainer, pentester, and mentor.
